MUMS Private GPs have extended specialist roles in Dermatology and Minor Surgery.
Dermatology and Minor Surgery is offered at MUMS on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Skin conditions are very common and can cause itching, discomfort, or pain. They can leave you feeling embarrassed, self-conscious and low.
We offer same-day mole assessment and removal, thus avoiding long waits for treatment on the NHS. We offer cryotherapy for warts and skin tags. We also offer excisions and shave for larger warts and skin tags. Our experts can remove lumps, bumps, lipomas and sebaceous cysts. Dr Sriram also offers anal wart and anal skin tag removal.
There are no waiting times and MUMS. We have ample parking, and you can choose a male or female clinical expert because we know that some minor surgery may be located in an embarrassing place on your body.
Our experts are here to help you understand and manage your skin problems with short and long-term treatments that best suit your needs.
You can book online or call our friendly team on 0121 704 2669.
Our experts deal with:
The British Association of Dermatologists recognise GPs as GPs with an extended dermatology role. This is a recognised qualification.
GPs with this qualification can diagnose and treat skin disorders. Not all doctors are trained in dermatology to the extent of a GP with an extended role in dermatology.
At MUMS we understand the constraints of the NHS waiting times. The NHS describes minor surgery as a procedure of limited clinical value and so it is difficult and frustrating to obtain assessment and treatment swiftly. Opting for private dermatology and minor surgery can remove undue stress. It is, for this reason, we are working in partnership with expert GPs in Dermatology to serve the local population with fast access to dermatology to avoid delays in diagnosis.
As skin complaints are visible to yourself and others, unlike a lot of other illnesses – this can have an impact on your confidence. Lesions, cysts, lumps, bumps, warts, and skin tags – can all be removed in a one-stop shop setting at MUMS – at affordable pricing.
We are proud of our patient testimonials, and our service users' satisfaction rates – we aim to please.
