I am a consultant obstetrician at University Hospitals Birmingham. I began my postgraduate training in the East Midlands, obtaining the MRCOG in 2015. I then secured a research fellowship at the Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine at Kings College Hospital, under the auspices of Professor Kypros Nicolaides. Following this I obtained dual sub-specialist accreditation in both Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal medicine, also from Kings College Hospital.
In my current role providing obstetric care for both low and high risk pregnancies, I am the lead consultant for labour ward at Good Hope Hospital. I am also the lead clinician for multiple pregnancy. My special interests include high-risk obstetrics, multiple pregnancy, and managing medical disorders in pregnancy. MUMS offers an ideal environment to support women and couples to enable them to make choices about their pregnancies and their deliveries.
