Miss Poonam Pradhan is a Paediatric and Adult Consultant Gynaecologist at MUMS. Puberty is not an easy stage of growing up and when hormonal changes and imbalances are present, it is important to know that there is help from a paediatric/adolescent gynaecologist. This can be a very distressing time for the young girl and her parents/guardian.

Miss Pradhan will take a detailed history and examine the child or adolescent and perform an ultrasound scan if required. A letter is provided for parents to take to their NHS GP so that any future prescribing can be obtained. Alternatively, repeat prescriptions are available at MUMS at a cost of £20.00.
