The private clinic at MUMS has no waiting times. The menopause consult will include an unrushed, in-depth comprehensive consultation.

This holistic check covers many aspects of your health to ascertain as to whether you are peri menopausal, menopausal, or post-menopausal. Private menopause treatment at MUMS Solihull – is available four days per week and on Saturdays too.

HRT (hormone replacement therapy) is prescribed by Miss Poonam Pradhan, Consultant Gynaecologist – where you will undergo a full assessment with tailored, bespoke – advice, prescribing and follow up.

Miss Pradhan has a special interest in HRT, Menopause, and women’s health. It can be frustrating for women who try to navigate the NHS system to obtain HRT. At MUMS – our private specialist menopause clinic – has no waiting times, rapid results when tests are performed, and our ladies are followed up.  Repeat prescriptions for HRT are easy to access.

The menopause is the time when a woman stops having periods, and she is no longer able to get pregnant. It’s common to have symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats and mood changes when you go through the menopause.

Menopause is a natural stage of life. The average age for women to reach the menopause in the UK is 51, but this can vary widely.

There are many different treatments available for menopause – finding the right one for you is important. Miss Pradhan will take a full history, exam, and consultation – to ascertain which hormone replacement therapy is right for you – considering any risks or history or family history.

Many women choose private HRT and private treatments for menopause as they wish to be seen sooner and enjoy a personal relationship with their consultant gynaecologist. Consultations are elongated, blood tests are performed on site, results from tests are rapid and prescribing is performed without delay.

Consultations with Miss Poonam Pradhan, Gynaecologist and Menopause Specialist cost £200.00

The menopause consultation is also fit for women who experience abnormal bleeding whilst using HRT. Treatment of the menopause can dramatically improve a woman’s well-being and therefore help restore personal and social relationships.

Scans and blood tests incur an addition fee if required.

A scan in the menopausal age group is done to diagnose cancers. A scan is also crucial in women bleeding on HRT. The scan will involve a tummy scan and a trans vaginal scan. The endometrium or the lining of the uterus is thickened in conditions like a polyp or cancers.

There are no additional fees for prescribing.

Follow up appointments cost £150.
