Finding an experienced private Consultant Endocrinologist locally can be difficult, and especially when NHS waiting times can cause anxiety.

At MUMS our Consultant Endocrinologist, Dr Asad Rahim - offers private endocrinology consultations, diagnosis, and treatment to adults. Consultations are un-rushed and can be face-to-face or telephone with rapid access to tests and investigations for a speedy diagnosis. A GP Referral is preferable but not essential. Our consultant led clinic in Solihull is open 6 days a week.

Mr Asad is a Consultant Endocrinologist in the NHS at University Hospitals Birmingham. He graduated in 1991 from The University of Leeds and was awarded FRCP at the Royal College of Physicians in 2010. He is an expert in managing all types of endocrine conditions with 25 years’ experience and has a Doctorate in Medicine (Endocrinology) from The University of Manchester (1999).
