Dr Ashish Chikermane – Consultant  Paediatric Cardiologist – offers cardiology consultations, paediatric ECHO, Paediatric ECG.

A Paediatric ECHO costs £500.00

A Paediatric Consultation is required in the first instance – before or at the time of the ECHO. A Consultation costs £235.00

An ECG must be performed prior to the consultation which costs £50.00

Dr Chikermane is highly experienced in paediatric cardiology and specialises in cardiac paediatric ECHO and MRI.

An Echo (echocardiogram)  is an ultrasound scan of the heart. Echo is often used to diagnose heart problems.  Ashish will examine the whole heart including blood flow, the structure and how the heart function. Ultrasound of the heart is risk free and painless.

There is no preparation needed.

The scan will last for approx. 30 mins. The consultation will last for approx. 30 mins. The whole appointment will take an hour or so. The ECG before the consultation and echo will take 30 mins. You need to prepare for approx. 1.5 hours at MUMS.

There is no need for a referral and there are no waiting times. Consultations are unrushed, comprehensive and a detailed report is provided.
