Private Haematology at MUMS Clinic

MUMS Consultant Haematologist - Mr Bhuvan Kishore, Consultant Haematologist welcomes patients who wish to self-refer, self-pay or have health insurance. Dr Kishore sees patients aged over 16 at MUMS.

Dr Kishore investigates all haematological disorders with research interests in myeloma.  His NHS practice is at University Hospitals Birmingham.

We have an array of blood test/pathology clusters that offer value for money – unlike single tests – which can amount to a high cost. Results are rapid and Mr Kishore analyses the results speedily to give you peace of mind or a treatment pathway.

He treats on an average 100 outpatients and 20 inpatients per week in a busy haematology service within the NHS. Some of the services he will offer are listed below. 

• All abnormalities of blood and clotting/thrombosis
• Investigation of low or high blood counts listed below
• Suspected Haematological or blood cancers investigation 
• Therapy and monitoring for myeloma/lymphoma/myeloproliferative disorders such as polycythaemia, essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis, leukaemia-acute.
• Anaemia 

At MUMS we are recognised for holistic, tailored – joined up care and provide excellent patient care using exceptional levels of expertise from our 34 specialist consultants. Private patients who suspect they may have a blood disorder can be seen quickly. We understand how important it is to get a correct diagnosis as quickly as possible. 

Our patients under the guidance of Dr Kishore benefit from a full range of diagnostic services relevant to common, rare, and very rare bleeding and thrombotic disorders. We would provide advice on short or long term anticoagulation. 

Mr Kishore consults at MUMS on Thursdays and Saturdays. There is no need for a referral from your NHS GP and there are no waiting times at MUMS. We have ample parking and great patient reviews. All blood tests performed by Mr Kishore can be performed during the consultation.
