Mike is an Oxford University Graduate and was trained through the UK system in the Midlands after qualification in 1983. Mike was Clinical Director of Obstetric and Gynaecology at the Heart of England Foundation Trust between 2009 to 2013, having been a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Heartlands & Solihull Hospitals since 1994, specialising in Ultrasound and Fetal Medicine. In 2013 he took on the Director role for the MUMS practice. He has been the chair and convenor of the West Midlands Regional Ultrasound Group and set up the West Midlands Regional Congenital Anomaly Register. He has published on many ultrasound issues including congenital abnormalities and markers for Down’s syndrome. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRCOG) and has the Fetal Medicine Foundation certificate for Nuchal Translucency (NT) scanning and Nasal Bone (NB) assessment, Tricuspid Regurgitation (TR) and Ductus Venosus (DV).
Miss Poonam Pradhan has been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practicing at Heartlands and Solihull Hospitals since 2004. Additionally, Poonam Consults at Spire Healthcare and at MUMS Clinic (Midlands Ultrasound and Medical Services) in Solihull. Poonam is a general gynaecologist who has expertise in transvaginal scanning for the detection of gynaecological problems including cancers. She performs surgery including laparoscopy, hysterectomy and vaginal repairs.
Vicky has many years experience as both a community and hospital midwife. She specialises in parental education i.e., breastfeeding, labour.
