Private Paediatric Female Pelvis Ultrasound Scans at MUMS Solihull

We offer scanning of the female pelvis via the lower abdomen to look at the uterus and ovaries. These studies can be used to assess delayed puberty or to complement assessment for polycystic ovarian syndrome. They can also be used in the context of pelvic pain.

These studies need a full bladder and we therefore encourage children to drink plenty beforehand. We aim to make girls as comfortable as possible during these scans.

Dr Emily Evans offers detailed and comprehensive ultrasound scans and reports for new-borns and children and young adults up to 18 years at our state of the art – clinic in Solihull. There are no waiting times for an ultrasound scan with our paediatric radiologist.

Dr Evans will provide you with an immediate verbal and written report. You are able to take the report and images to your usual clinician or access any of our Consultants and GPs to have the report explained to you in detail.

Miss Poonam Pradhan is a Paediatric and Adult Consultant Gynaecologist at MUMS. MUMS have been providing Adult Private Gynaecology Consultations and Scans for two decades and offer Private Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology services to include consultations, scans, and treatment.
