Introducing our latest ultrasound service for Rheumatology or suspected Rheumatology patients. This service is designed to provide accurate and comprehensive assessments of joint health, specifically for rheumatoid arthritis. Ultrasound has revolutionised the way we diagnose and monitor Rheumatologic conditions, offering a multitude of benefits in the assessment of joints affected by rheumatoid arthritis.

First and foremost, ultrasound enables non-invasive imaging, making it a preferred choice for patients who may have concerns about radiation exposure. This safe and painless technique utilises high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of the joints, allowing rheumatologists to visualise and evaluate the extent of joint inflammation and damage associated with rheumatoid arthritis.

One of the key advantages of ultrasound in rheumatology is its ability to detect early signs of rheumatoid arthritis. By capturing detailed images of the joints, ultrasound can identify subtle changes in the synovial membrane, which is often the initial site of inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis.
