Hep A and B Combined Vaccine

The cost of each of the 3 Hep A and Hep B Adult Vaccines is £85.00

The cost of each of the 3 Hep A and Hep B Paediatric Vaccines is £50.00

The Vaccine is administered in 3 separate doses.

This Vaccine is recommended to be administered within a £100.00 GP Consultation with comprehensive advice. However, you may wish to have the vaccine without a consultation in a simple vaccination appointment which costs £40.00

The "Hepatitis A & B combination" immunisation series consists of three shots. It takes six months to complete the entire course.

The doses are administered one month apart – with the 3^rd dose being 5 months after the 2^nd dose.

We can also test for hepatitis B immunity.

MUMS also offer an accelerated course. The expedited course entails three shots before departure and a fourth treatment twelve months afterwards to finish the programme. The first dose can be given with the 2^nd dose being one week later and a 3^rd dose two weeks after the 2^nd dose. The fourth dose is given for complete protection after the 3^rd dose.

We offer immunity tests to determine your level of immunity.

After finishing the entire course, you will have protection from hepatitis A for 25 years and B for 5 years.

After your immunity wears off, you could need a booster if you're still susceptible to either disease.
