Hi Everyone,
We would just like to try and describe some of the phenomenal service that we have recieved so far from Mike and Chris. We have been private patients now since our 13th week of pregnancy and have had a few complicatons along the way. At 17 weeks Mike realised that i had cervical incompetence and admitted me immediately to perform a cervical suture, thankfully the surgery went very well and he saved our baby's life! Now we are 27 weeks pregnant and things are looking good. Our little boy also has a dilated kidney which Mike has been keeping a strict eye on.
The whole time we have been made to feel very at ease and all the staff seem to understand what we are going through. They have managed to reassure us at every stage even though i worry over everything!!We have had numerous DVD's and 4d photos of a fantastic quality which show us our little Mikey growing along the way. We cant thank them enough for what they have done and if anyone has any questions about having the full antenatal package we would be happy to answer them.
Once again we can not express our gratitude and happiness for the care we have recieved and highly recommend the service. We are looking forward to Mike or Chris delivering our son by C-section and holding him for the first time.
x
Laura and John

people are going to think we put you up to these comments!! What can we say to you both but thank you for such appreciation as this is what makes our work so rewarding in helping at moments of what appear to be absolute despair and doom. Your patience and resiliance has been fantastic throughout with John being a great source of support and understanding. As you know you have our mobiles so any worries call us 24/7

Well we just wanted to update this post, after an extremly enjoyable c section our little mikey was born, i was out of the hospital the next day and had no problems at all after my section.
8 moths later i found myself pregnant again we immediately contacted Mike as there was no way we were going through my pregnacy without him by my side. He saw us very early on to reasure us that everything was where it should be and going well . At 12 weeks we were told we were having a little girl(which he confirmed 100% at 16 weeks ). we had a preemptive stich put in at 16 weeks which went well, i went home the same day. through out my whole pregnancy one of my biggest fears was having to leave my little boy who was still only about 14 months old. After discussing this with Mike and Chris we diecided to have a day case c section, i was taken in at 7 am Carisma May was born at 7.59am and we were discharged at 9 pm the same day. i still dont think that Mike realises how important this was too me and that yet again he has gone above and beyond for me and my family. i will never be able to look at my children without thinking of him and the impact he has had on mine and their lives,i owe him everything my two babies especailly Mikey would not be here without him. We will never forget what he has done for us and hope to god that if we decide to have another baby that he will still be there some years down the line, as we would not go through it all without him.
love always John, Laura,Mikey and Issy xx |

How was your second pregnancy and delivery different from your first?
I have a 20 month old. Just took an EPT and it appears to be positive, that I'm pregnant (sssshhhhh). So I'm wondering, how is the second pregnancy and delivery different from the first, and how is it having two little ones instead of one? How can I prepare myself?

Hi Tatzaana,
Im not sure if i can really answer this, as with both my pregnancies having complications i spent a lot of time in bed which obviously made things very hard, did you have a section? On the question of having two instead of one, i don't think you really can prepare yourself lol, its very different, the only really advice i can think of is to look into baby wearing it was a god send with having two, if your little one is walking by the time the second baby comes that really helps too Congratulations _________________ Private Patient
